Seppo Alvari, who has launched the term “outlaw-hits” in Finland, published his third record in September. Jani & Jetsetters released their third album "Matkalaiset" 23.9.2009. On the new album the band's musical expression has been refined to genre crossing 60s poprock. The album's first single, "Lennä pois" made it's way to list of most played songs in the summer and early autumn on a number of radio stations, for example. Radio Finland. The second single, is the beautiful and melancholic "Kumpikin".
Touring after the release of their previous albums has made Jani & Jetsetters publicly known. A number of radio hits, Eurovision 2007 preliminaries and and believing in their own music has gained the band a solid support and brought new, younger audience to the gigs.
Their music influences come from surfmusic and the finnish rautalanka music and 50s and 60s rock, combined with today's best songwriters' melodies. The album "Matkalaiset" also has an impressive list of songwriters: Kaarle Viikate, Anssi Kela, Marko Haavisto and Tuure Kilpeläinen just to name a few and as the producer of the album worked the well known Janne Haavisto.

Daisy was founded in with the central idea of playing positive, happy and classic pop/rock-influenced music. Their first album was released in 2003 and it played tribute to these principles. During the recording of their second album, their studio burnt down at christmas 2004. The band begun their recordings from the beginning but with a vibe already far from the retro.rock of their first album. The critically applauded "It's about time" -album was released in 2008 and their single "Heartbeat" was on rotation on many radio stations. The new songs the band had written and stored during the long recording sessions for their second album were recorded really ultra-fast for Daisy, during 2008-2009. The new album ”Daydream” will be released 11.11.2009. On the new album the band takes even more distance from their roots towards their own unique melodic style.

Blake’s history includes a lot of praise and reputation. Bam Margera has used three Blake songs in "Viva La Spring Brake" program. Singer of Therapy?, Andy Cairns has been appointed Blake as the next big heir of Black Sabbath tradition. Blake has also stacked up a tally of hundreds of gigs. Namely, the band has performed with various groups such as AC/DC, Black Label Society, Cathedral, Therapy?, Mustasch and Iggy Pop. Medeia has quickly become one of the hottest Finnish alternative death metal bands. The band’s second album “Cult” (2008) shot Medeia up on the Finnish Album Chart, and the band has since been touring Finland extensively. Medeia has also shared a month long European tour with The Ocean, Burst and Bison BC, and played with bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Entombed and As I Lay Dying. FM2000 is a ten year old band from the midst of Savonia area, Pieksämäki. Their music is a schizophrenic coctail of punk, metal and folk music. After a decade of self-financed demos and albums, FM2000 won The Best Demo Band category in the Finnish Metal Awards in 2009. Sakara Records signed the band right away and released their third album ”Meibi bus home?” in March 2009. This deliberately awkward question was answered in October with ”Yes, Sir!” EP.

The Swedish band Sparzanza has already created a buzz in Finland. The concert in Tampere will be the second stop on their fall tour in Finland. The Sparzanza single “My World of Sin” has got lot of airtime on the Radio Rock channel. During this summer Sparzanza did a few festivals in Finland. They got some extra media attention when they replaced the legendary American trash-metal band Anthrax at the Q –stock festival in Oulu. Recently “The Song In My Control” from their previous album “Banisher of the Light” ended up in a second place at the American JPF Music Awards 2009 in the best metal song category. Their latest single is their unique version of the Billy Idol song “Rebel Yell”.

Poisonblack, hailing from Oulu city, has been established in 2003 and it has released three albums so far. The leader of the band is the well-known metal singer Mr. Ville Laihiala, formerly known as a singer of legendary metal band Sentenced.
Poisonblack’s rock soup tastes heavy, but it’s been spiced by the organic flavours. There is dirty distortion strongly enough! The group leaded by the frontline metal head Laihiala has been exploided on the international fields as well by touring with the names like Dark Tranquillity and Lacuna Coil.
If you wanna get smashed by the rock sledgehammer, Poisonblack is for you. When Mr. Laihiala gets on the stage and takes you on the rock rollercoaster, it leaves nothing to ask. The most famous Poisonblack’s songs are ”Bear the Cross”, ”Rush” and ”Love Infernal”.

Finnish metal bulldozer Diablo's fifth album “Icaros” was released in Finland in May 2008. According to fans and media "Icaros" is their strongest album so far. The record buyers awarded Diablo by getting the album to the position #2 on the Finnish album charts. "Icaros" was released in a number of European countries during the Autumn 2008. At the beginning of the year 2009, Diablo did an extensive European tour with Children of Bodom and Cannibal Corpse. Diablo’s live performance convinced European promoters, and the band returned to Germany in October to do their first headlining tour outside Finland.
