Eläin is a five piece rock group from Joensuu with the perfect balance between noise and melody. Itkevä tyttö (The Weeping Girl) is a Finnish art-punk band originally from Rauma, south-western coast of Finland. There's not a single girl in the band and none of us weep publicly: the name is a deceit. The latest album is called “Meri” (The Sea) – the bottom is still to be reached but Itkevä tyttö keeps on sinking. Don't be fooled with the name or all the references to poetry and Russian literature, for the intent is to blow your brains away.
